A guest comic for a webcomic called Life & Death which stars Steve, as Death.

This is the last comic for the retro archives… from here on the style of OtE has changed drastically.

This was created at a time when I was able to update OtE regularly… and had been on hiatus for a few months.

Subsequently reading around, it seems like it’s pretty much a requirement for webcomics to do a comic like this at some point.

This comic was based on a meeting of local artists. One artist I’ve known for a number of years was a really good shot with those little sugar packets you find at coffee shops.

A language that just won’t die.

A lot of folks will relate to this when having had to experience a 2 hour lecture.

Nowadays I work a 9-to-5 so the 2 hour lecture doesn’t seem so bad…

I used to tutor at university, which involved lecturing a class twice a week… not so easy to do without sleep.

Despite its age I’m still quite proud of the chalk-dust effect.

Had a lot of fun with this one, especially drawing the Sam Fisher headset/goggles.

This comic page was for a competition where you had to use these Tiny Ninja Robots in some form. I won the competition but never received the prize… go figure.

At the time this was drawn we were having a lot of power outages. I made sure to save often at that time.

When I was at university we had these opening days where new students could check out all the societies… a rather sadistic friend of ours would take the opportunity to have a chat with the more innocent looking students.
